The seven lights
In a later journal, seven points of light appear in a series of diagrams. The arrangement changes slightly from one entry to the next, but a central shape remains consistent.
The pattern is never described as a map. It is recorded as a memory: a formation seen in a quiet sky and then recreated on paper, again and again, until the spacing felt right.
The connection to the Pleiades comes later. Whether the resemblance is coincidence, memory, or something deliberately placed in the story remains unresolved inside the archive.
“It wasn’t the brightness. It was the way they moved as though they were waiting.”
